My Cadillac Don't Run No More Music and lyrics by Greg Spence Wolf

My Cadillac Don't Run No More words and music Greg Spence Wolf

My Cadillac, don't run no more,

It sits in pieces outside my door

Its rear end is all smashed in

And my Cadillac don't run no more.

Some son of a gun, pulled a hit and run

He probably had no insurance

And now my rear end Is all smashed in
And my Cadillac don't run no more

I always park defensively

So that nobody will hit me

I was certain I would not get hit that day,

It did not work out that way.

My Cadillac don't run no more

It sits in pieces outside my door

It's rear end is all smashed in

And my Cadillac don't run no more.

Now that old car, just good for parts

To see it there just breaks my heart

It's transmission won't even start

Now I got a Redneck Yard.

My Cadillac don't run no more

It sits in pieces outside my door

It's rear end is all smashed in

And my Cadillac don't run no more.

Upbeat gospel singing/ bluegrass picking style

GGGG GGGG (My Cadillac Don't Run No MOre)

CCCC GGGG (It sits in pieces outside my door)

GGGG Em Em Em Em (It's rear end is all smashed in)

GGDD GGGG (And my Cadillac don't run no more)

I am working on an arrangement for the song that can be overdubbed. The time signature will be a quarter note equals 1 second. Each verse and chorus is 32 beats/eight measures long. Most verses have three pick up notes on the last three eigth notes of the previous verse/chorus (IE My3& cad4 dil4& )Lac 1 The arrangement will go like this 1st -Instrumental intro Extremely close to the chorus 2nd - Sung chorus 3rd -"Some son of a gun" 4th - Sung chorus 5th - instrumental solos 6th - instrumental solos 7th - "I always park" 8th - Chorus 9th instrumental solos/gospel bluegrass style 10th - instrumental solos/gospel bluegrass style 11th - Now that okd car" 12th - Chorus 13th - dramatic and slowed down chorus with improvisation on the part of t he singer END Bow
