I'mI want social media companies to pay all users for content that users provide.
I want users to be able to control the layout of the sites they post on and on their home pages.
I want to decide what kinds of suggestions people see.
I want the requirement that users content and face can be used for advertising.
I want the users to be able to name the content they post, instead of algorithms.
I don't want to be notified when people post. I have a newsfeed for people I follow
I want to be able to use bluesky and other social media sites as an email. I want to be able to send messages from bluesky to an email address. And viceversa.
Myspace was awesome before they put in hundreds of features. When it was make a friend, post to that friend's wall and check for notifications tomorrow to see if they posted. One to one communication. No algorithms manipulating me. No unsolicited prompts.
I want to use social media to talk to people, not respond to computer generated prompts and emails.
The more algorithms fo on social media, the less I like them.
I am slowly training my brain to not get sucked into newsfeeds. I would like to turn off the newsfeed. Ibwould like to get rid of rhe menus, or at least be able to turn off discover news feeds.
I am sick of comedians and tv shows etc giving free ads to these huge corporations that are doing every thing they can to control every communication and transaction we make
